Three year anniversary of Katrina just passed and it’s looking like another hurricane is going to hit Louisiana just as the Republican National Convention gets going. Semi-related, a hurricane from New Orleans is going to hit Vancouver on Saturday October 18 as Quinton and Miss Pussycat just announced a show at the Biltmore. Quintron and Miss Pussycat call their sound Swamp Tech and it’s mostly made with an organ and an instrument Quintron invented called The Drum Buddy. The Biltmore? How exactly are they planning on swinging that? Didn’t the city shut the venue down for expanding their stage or some bureaucratic no-fun BS like that?
